I usually always get the M&S one but thought it was poor last year so went for Glossybox instead.  Ended up selling quite a few bits on Vinted as I wouldn't use them and overall was a bit disappointed.  I am thinking of holding on for the M&S one again this year, and hoping it's a good 'un.
I'll definitely update the blog when the M&S calendar comes out - people seem to think it'll cost £60, but only when you spend £35 across fashion, home and beauty. What do you think about that?

I've added Glossybox into the blog - it's top for value, with an 85% saving! Very impressive.
I would rather you didn't have to buy something in order to get it at £60. I usually take the £35 item back unless it's something I really want!
    I can't imagine spending £35.00 at M&S.

I've not been in their store for at least 3 years.
I'd have no problem spending £35 at M&S! The clothes and shoes in particular have massively improved in recent years - plus they do lots of non M&S brands these days.
If you find yourself in Somerset.  There is a big shopping village in Street, near Glastonbury.  It’s called Clark’s Village (after the shoe people).  There is a large M & S there to indulge your bargain hunting😺. The car park is huge but it gets very busy.
I went there when it first opened, but it's not easy to get to from London & sans car... Thank you for the suggestion though.

Does anyone else's  M&S beauty advent calendar have  missing bits?  Didn't notice until 4 Dec - which wasn't there.  Tipped it all out, and 23rd is missing as well.  Knowing my luck, one of those will be the full sized Clinique mascara!

Spoke to customer services, and got the distinct impression that I wasn't the first person to ring with this complaint.  Apologised for not being able to send me a replacement, as the calendar had sold out, but did say that he would refer my case up the line and, in the meantime, send me a £10 e-voucher.

Next year I'll be sure to check the contents as soon as received.  In the meantime, out of curiosity, can anyone tell me what was in box 4?  And, if you don't mind peaking, in box 23?  Thanks !

    UPDATE:

Missing the Weleda face cream and a sample sized conditioner, so not too bad.  Not only did I get my favourite Clinique mascara (£26 by itself) it is in my preferred colour of black/brown !

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and all the very best for 2026.

The missing bits are so annoying, I'm sorry! I'm really glad you got your Clinique mascara, you're making me want to try it.

I'm glad you've got your e-voucher - do you have any update on your case being referred up the line? I'm interested in knowing the outcome!

I hope you had a great Christmas and have a very Happy New Year!
