Beauty Advent Calendars 2025

Murphybear said:I have had luxury end advent beauty calendars for the last 10 years. My favourite is Harrods. They cost £250 (same price for last few years) and this years value is over £1500. Sad I know but I usually check the values 😹
They have very high end brands which usually cost a fortune. Many full size products, no sample sizes. Mainly skincare rather than cosmetics. My husband usually buys one for my Christmas present.I use every item
Last year I got a moisturiser from an English skin care brand called Avant. It’s become my favourite skin care brand. They now do a 12 item calendar which costs £99 or £89.10 if you can find a 10% off voucher. I bought one this year as I needed some more moisturiser which is in the calendar and costs £79 on its own 😺
Avant seems to be cropping up in a lot of this year's calendars, so I'd be keen to try the brand. Wow - that's brilliant with your moisturiser! That's always my favourite reason to buy an Advent calendar...when the vast majority of the cost is taken up with something you would've bought anyway!0 -

Ended up selling quite a few bits on Vinted as I wouldn't use them and overall was a bit disappointed. I am thinking of holding on for the M&S one again this year, and hoping it's a good 'un.
I've added Glossybox into the blog - it's top for value, with an 85% saving! Very impressive.0 -

But I charity shop.
Instead of racks of the same design, I get stuff that might never have been seen in my area.
And probably at 1/10th of the price.0 -

I had the M&S beauty advent calendar last year and loved it, and use the case it all came in to store my everyday makeup. Used and loved every product in there so I'm very tempted by the calendar again this year and need a new pair of jeans so might treat myself to some brand new ones for a change so I can get the calendar too. I think the increase in the price (£60 this year compared to £45 last year) is probably due to the fact they're stocking Estee Lauder now and I'm assuming will be including a mini or two of theirs in the calendar.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Maybe I could afford the Holland and Barrett advent out of next month’s pay if they haven’t sold out….35 NS&I
