Ryanair - Delayed Luggage Claim

I'm at a bit of a loss, and impasse with our good friends at Ryanair.
See, we flew with them to Eindhoven a while back and whilst we arrived in good spirits, our luggage unfortunately did not. It was a bit of a farcical situation at the airport with no real guidance or support provided but vowing not to let it ruin our break headed off to replenish some of the basics we'd need for our trip.
Long story short months later and whilst Ryanair did pay some compensation off the back of the claim for 'necessities' it falls way short (approx 1/3) of what we actually paid out. They're unable to tell me or provide a list of what constitutes a 'necessity' (or even how they arrived at the figure itself) - and I don't believe I've taken advantage (or the pee) by any stretch of the imagination.
Given they didn't advise us at the time of arrival what we could/couldn't purchase, or how long we might be expected to have to wait for our luggage it all feels a little bit 'wrong' - and whilst I'm only a couple of hundred quid out of pocket (family of 4!) imagine others are in a far worse place.
Have attempted to log a claim several times with Aviation ADR which just disappear into the ether (leaving my claim 'dashboard' blank) and raising a support ticket or sending emails to them appears a fruitless task.
Has anyone had any recent success in similar situations or do I just suck it up and move on? (Which I'm guessing they will hope most of the other passengers do!)
Thanks!

How long was the luggage missing for. How much were you claiming for and on what?0

What do your travel insurance say about the lost/delayed baggage?0

Claim was approx £288 - all bought on the Sunday: underwear, spare tee shirt and trousers (per person), couple of swim wear items, a phone charger, bag to put it all in, toothbrushes/body wash etc - all from the likes of Primark/C&A etc! Then the additional extra bag to cart it all home again!0 -

can't speak for Ryanair but BA lost one of our bags from London to Oslo. Bag was returned two days later to our holiday accomodation in Norway. BA did they they would reimburse "essentials" (though it's not explicitly clear what that covered)
It was my sons bag and we were staying with familty so we could pool resources to some extent. I spent about £20 on new boxers and socks and in the end it was a a bit of a faff to claim this back though I am sure BA would have covered it.
But the other items you mention I doubt would be covered. Your travel insurance may well cover them though.
Contigency planning is useful. I tend to pack "essential" items (toothbrush, charger, meds etc) in my hand luggage so if I do lose a bag then it's not an immediate emergency.1 -

Whilst it's a pain, and may not have been what you'd have otherwise chosen you do ultimately each now own additional trousers and t-shirts.
Given you had to collect the bag you can add on your transport costs for the collection too if you haven't already.1
