I've been quoted a remarkably low price by this company. Could anyone who has used them comment on their experience please?

Fairly new website, contact number is a mobile phone. A google search only shows this page.

I wouldn't touch it with someone elses bargepole.

Their website has been going just under a year and still no one has written a TrustPilot review on them.

They fail to identify who the legal entity is, which isnt legal, and there is no obvious parking company registered at their contact address. In itself not a problem as many use their accountants etc but just means you can't check if they've been running years and it's just a new website or if they are brand new too.

Being new they could be discounting to get business or they could be bad and hence need to be cheap to get anyone. Guess it depends to a degree on how important your car is to you on if it's worth taking a punt on an unknown firm or pay more for a known name.
  • Thanks both. I think I'll avoid this outfit. How about gatwickholidayparking?

I'd recommend having a look at MSE's own guide: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-airport-parking/
Personally I've used Holiday Extras a few times and always been happy with the service and the price.  But do your own research - there are plenty of companies out there that offer decent deals.

My brother used a cheap company when they were on holiday in Australia, company went bust whilst they were away and so when they returned they had no idea where their car was and how to access it.

They had to spend tons on taxis to get home and then back to the field their car was eventually located in, was a v v stressful end to the holiday.

That cost more than 4x the money they 'saved' going with them in the first place, and has put me off trying any unknown companies

I compared a few when we went from Stanstead, bought via TopCashBack and got 10% cashback on the price as well.

Holiday Extras can give up to 50%!

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

wise choice. I will only use official airport parking services after hearing too many horror stories. Why entrust your second largest purchase with someone you have no idea about and could use your car for a lot of dubious reasons whilst you are away?
    Not worth it at all.

I use Skyparksecure and you can usually find discount codes dotted around the internet.

If you use them and sign up to an account, they'll email you the best one's regularly.
(I've noticed some older ones don't drop off their system, so it's worth trying them even if they are out of date)

They only list accredited parking companies and they even list some airports official parking contractors at discounts, like Stansted own meet & greet.

From Gatwick, I've always booked Sure or ACE meet & greet and never had any bother, including last week.

But whoever you book. make sure they are accredited.
Look for car parks that  are accredited by the Bristish Parking Association's ParkMark scheme.
