Late Payment Parking Ticket
SomethingMemorable
I've recently parked at a local airport which has recently installed a barrier-less payment system. The £5 needed to be paid by 23.59 the following day, but it slipped my mind on the drive home and waking up in a cold sweat I paid the £5 at 01:20, an hour and twenty minutes late... The thought being that if I paid before the fine was issued then I would be on the right side of the line. If I get a fine through, is there any advice, should I appeal or is it a done deal? Thanks in advanced.

Read similar cases on here at the same Airport, appeal using the typical Airport template, as keeper, no blabbing about who was driving, or about what happened, and it should be cancelled
Was it Apcoa and Manchester Airport ? ( The current bad boy since it changed in May )
There wont be a fine, magistrates issue fines, not private parking companies, but there is likely to be a pcn in the post from the private parking company1 -
But you can't get a fine. Private firms can't issue fines!SomethingMemorable said:I've recently parked at a local airport which has recently installed a barrier-less payment system. Even if you got a tedious parking charge from APCOA those invoices are a cinch to kill.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
