Cabot threatening to visit

Cabot, and others, mainly use the services of companies such as Resolvecall or Verify, to visit you at home.
Now the purpose of the home visit is not, surprisingly to get any money from you, they are engaged to simply "re-connect" you to Cabot, to encourage you to contact Cabot to discuss upping your payments, that`s all they do.
Its important to remember, they are not bailiffs, they have no more rights than you or I do, so do not feel threatened by them, or think that you have to engage with them, because you don`t.
Others have given excellent advice on how to deal with them, in previous posts, so I hope this put`s your mind at rest somewhat.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I'd ask for the CCAs again. Even if the first purchasers had them they might not be able to supply them to Cabot now.0

@Grumpelstiltskin Thanks for the link. As you say, nothing to lose! Just checked a few credit report companies and there is nothing mentioned about these debts through Cabot anywhere. Nothing showing previous to Cabot either.0
