Pay or not to pay

Hi guys,

I have received a letter from the solicitors after ignoring the threatening letters from UKCPM.

To cut the long story short, I have revcieved the fine while I was unloading the car in a clients place.
This is the 3rd time I have received the fine and as posted somewhere on other posts  I was a east prey (I didn't want to pay the second one but was convinced that was better for my piece of mind just to receive the third one without even parking there- the boot was opened but cannot be seem in the photos taken)
What should i do? Shall I ignore this letter as well or try to reply to solicitors explaining the situation (sort of cease and desist kind of thing)

Many thanks in advance

    Ignore,  do not pay

Wait for the Letter of Claim giving you 30 days notice

Meanwhile,  study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

Legitimate Loading and unloading comes under the Jopson appeal case, it's not parking

Ps, your name is on show,  as is the pcn reference too

You were not fined. You won't ever pay this.

Read post 2 of the NEWBIES thread for the stages not to ignore.

Also read the new MSE Guide to private parking tickets linked at the top of the page.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But in the meantime, FIGHTBACK ALERT:

Please do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline.

    See this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6617396/parking-code-of-practice-consultation-now-extended-closes-friday-26th-september/p1

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance to help focus new posters on the issues. I've covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

    CLOSES ON FRIDAY 26th SEPTEMBER.
