Hello everyone.  I am seeking some insight on how to go about the following situation, and would appreciate your response. I received a PCN from Mancester Airport UK for "Use of Pick Up/Drop Off Zone without making a valid payment" at Manchester Airport Lower Drop off Forecourt T! . Unfortunately I saw the letter after 3 weeks on return to the UK Unfortunately. Regrettably I was unwell for another period of 3 weeks upon returning to the UK, sadly I also missed the appeal deadline. I now have received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus. However I'd like like to challenge the charge for the following reason the driver entered the drop off zone in error, and time between entry and exit as detailed in the PCN letter was 1 minute 33 seconds. There is a parking ticket for the parking space eventually occupied. Can I still challenge this PCN?

If its too late to appeal it, as seen in numerous similar threads on here since May 2025, then ignore them
Definitely ignore the powerless debt collectors letters, see post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements2

However did you see you can get the PCN re-issued under the Code of Practice?Goodnews said:Hello every just read the newbies thread, Please just ignore this post.
You were abroad then ill. This meets the exceptional circumstances to ask for the PCN appeal deadline to be re-offered.
Show us their reply to this. Raise a complaint if they refuse.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
