Cheap Energy Club – Missing/incorrect address when entering postcode
Hi all,
I’ve used the Cheap Energy Club for years without issue, but I’ve just come across a technical fault with the address lookup.
When I enter my postcode, one flat in my building (mine) doesn’t appear in the results. Instead, the system shows a completely different property further up the street with another postcode. Every other flat in the block is listed correctly, but I can’t select mine, and there’s no option to add or amend it manually.
The Royal Mail address finder shows the correct details, so it looks like an error in how Energy Club pulls in the data.
Has anyone else come across this, or can the MSE team help fix it? I can’t use the tool at all while this issue persists, so any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Quick Update:
I’ve contacted MSE support. Cheap Energy Club switched to a new address database in March, but my address (correct on the national database) still doesn’t appear in the lookup. Another property up the street shows instead, while all other flats in the building are fine.
Support said they’d pass it to the tech team, but it’s unclear if it will be fixed. Has anyone else noticed valid addresses missing since the database change?

Why not 'borrow" one of the other other addresses in your block, input your own usage and tarrif and you should get some useful data.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

I have a similar issue, my address is also missing from the postcode selection data. It works fine with other suppliers (including Octopus, EDF etc). Obviously it impacts the ability to change tariff via the MSE Energy club because you cant select the correct supply/billing address. I can't see any way of switching directly with my current supplier (Octopus), so this is rather disappointing. I have emailed the Energy club to ask for this to be fixed.0
