Keep receiving parking charge letters for unknown person and vehicle from DCB Legal Ltd.

Hi,
Looking for advice, we keep receiving parking charge letters for a name I do not recognise and a vehicle registration I do not recognise. I know you're not supposed to open maillot addressed to you but as they keep coming, we were getting intrigued. I've checked online and can see that the company existed look legit but seen a thread on here about DCB legal ltd and now I'm unsure if it's a scam. Before I send them proof of address etc. what should I do? I'm thinking the vehicle must be registered here. so do I need to fill in a V888 form?

Just send the letters back marked "not known at this address".
If it's not addressed to you and it's not for a car you own or used to own then they can't demand anything from you. Don't send them anything that tells them who you are.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Except by doing that, the motorist will get a CCJ. I couldn't stitch someone up with a PPC if I could find them on social media. Please try to alert the person.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I would not worry it can not do you any harm2 -

The other place to look is on you credit history - does that person's name come up on that, are there any associated addresses that you don't recognise? Possibly the motorist is at one of those which might give you a clue as to where to look for them. You might also spot a debt on your history that you don't recognise which might lead you to think that there's more going on rather than just a person using the wrong address.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. In my inexperienced opinion, someone has most likely used your address as a 'ghost address' i.e they have used a random name that may or most likely, may not exist with your address to complete a 'Transfer of Liability'. In other words, they have said that the driver is *insert random first name and surname* and that their address is your address.
I'm sure that if the name doesn't exist, a CCJ cannot be given but I'm unsure about how. Are CCJ's tied to an address or a name?
Then again, why do people do this? If they really want the illegal way out, at least use an address that is out of UK civil jurisdiction so it doesn't affect innocent people like you.1 -

CCJS are linked to a name not the address, credit files are linked to a name not the actual address.
