Hello, I have previous posts regarding these claims .. should I comment on those instead or this new one?
I am at the next stage with the first claim now, having been sent a DQ by the CNBC. I have had it emailed to me as they have been sending letters to the incorrect address (tried to tell me that I changed it to that, which I called and asked to change from my old address but it seems they got confused).
I submitted my defence on 23/07/25, with the case stay lifted on 01/09/25, when they then sent me the DQ. My understanding was there is a time frame of 33days to counter my defence? These dates are 40 days apart? Please can someone advise? I am now following the advice on the threat for the DQ.

Forget those dates , they are not relevant
just email your DQ (download from the .Gov website and give your new address within the DQ)2

I thought if they hadn’t responded to my defence within the timeframe they weren’t able to proceed?0

Ok thank you for clearing it up. It seemed confusing over the phone as she told me 33 days, then that it had been 40.ChirpyChicken said:no thats not correct, move on from that nowAppreciate your help. I’m reading up on the DQ now0

There's what is supposed to happen, theory, and what actually happens in practice, so due to delays, understaffing etc, the reality is that leeway is given and dont believe everything they say or write
Just cover your own interests regardless of the other factors, letting the opposition worry about their side of it, the CNBC inbetweeners are known for various issues, because the MCOL system is not fit for purpose with private parking cases, and is overwhelmed too ( it's civil service, so to be expected )
There's party line, and anything goes1

There is no requirement for the Claimant to send a Reply to Defence. They can, but most don't.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
