LDK Parking Charge - Conflicting Times on letter

Hi, the registered keeper of the car got a parking charge from LDK, the contravention date and time is 24th August is early hours of that morning, however the entry date and time is stated to be just after lunchtime. with the exit time around 7 hours later. Therefore the contravention date and time is before the alleged entry / exit time.

Don't want to put to much detail on here but will follow any advise or guidance given.

Thanks for any help you can provide as not sure if this should be appealed on this basis?

The entry and exit times appear to state 01:12:59 and 01:19.59; so, 7 minutes.
  • ah yes, to me it looks like 12:59 and 19:59, didn't see the T01 as part of the timing on that part. Looks like just going to have to pay then thanks for pointing this out.

That doesn't mean you have to pay their scam invoice thought.
  • No one in their right mind would Pay LDK or ZZPS
  • really? so what would the advice be just ignore?
  • Either ignore it and ignore the ZZPS/ GTT / QDR Letters
    OR
Do a simple appeal simply saying "no parking rules were broken" and to cancel the pcn or issue a popla code
then when they turn down the appeal, do a simple appeal to popla with the simple phrase "no contract at this site to issue pcns"

You sound surprised. Of course you don't pay! You can read the new MSE Guide (fact-checked by me and by Martin Lewis - separately of course, we didn't work on it together) to help understand why not to pay. Did you miss it?

Linked at the top of every page.

Come back if you get a claim form. Tell them if you move house within 6 years. That is all.

Or do the easy appeal suggested above. We know what we are doing. Obviously you don't PAY!

Please show the back of the NTK.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • thanks again - always get straight forward advice from this forum which is perfect,

will do the simple appeal and if a claim comes through will update

    thanks all :-)
