1. The Promoter

The Promoter is British Gas Trading Limited, Millstream, Maidenhead Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 5GD

2. The Prize Draw

The Women’s Super League Football offers an opportunity for 8 prize winners to win complimentary tickets to watch a Barclays Women’s Super League or Barclays Women’s Super League 2 across the Matchday 3 weekend – 1 winner per match across 8 Matchday 4 fixtures. Each winner gets a pair of tickets in the home-end.

3. How to enter

3.1 The prize draw is open from 4th September (the "Opening Date") to 14th September (the "Closing Date") inclusive.

3.2 Prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or not received by the Closing Date.

3.3 To enter the prize draw:

(a) You must complete and submit an entry form, which must include your full name, contact information and details of your British Gas account, including your account number.

(b) The entry form is included within the social media post offering this promotional prize draw (available on Facebook and Instagram) and can also be located on the British Gas website.

3.4 If you are not a British Gas customer and want to enter the prize draw:

(a) You must sign up to being a British Gas customer through the link on the competition page.

(b) Once this has been completed, you can then enter the competition through the form, where you will enter your full name, contact information and details of your British Gas account, including your account number.

(c) The entry form is included within the social media post offering this promotional prize draw (available on Facebook and Instagram) and can also be located on the British Gas website.

3.5 The Promoter will not accept:

(a) responsibility for prize draw entries that do not comply with entry requirements set out at condition 3.3.(a) regardless of cause, including, for example, because of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind;

or

(b) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

3.6 By submitting a prize draw entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility

4.1 To be eligible to enter the prize draw, the following conditions must apply:

(a) you must be a British Gas customer, aged 18 or over, with an Energy Supply Contract or a Services Contract which is in force during the period 4th September – 14th September.

4.2 The Promoter will not accept prize draw entries from:

(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies; or

(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration.

4.3 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter will require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition (see condition 7.1).

4.4 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

(a) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications).

(b) completed by third parties or in bulk.

(c)  illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or

(d) incomplete (must comply with condition 3.3(a)).

4.5 There is a limit of one entry per person into the prize draw. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions will not be accepted.

4.6 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

5. The Prize

Each prize winner will receive 2 complimentary home tickets to watch a Barclays Women’s Super League or Barclays Women’s Super League 2 across the Matchday 4 weekend.

5.1 The prize is supplied by the Women’s Super League Football (2 Woodbridge Street, London, England, EC1R 0DG) An employee of British Gas will email the winners via the email linked to their British Gas account with instructions of how to access their tickets. No alternative prize will be provided as a whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control, wherein the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.

5.2  The prize does not include the cost of travel to and from the relevant home stadium, food and drink, spending money, tax or any other personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winners.

6. Prize winners

6.1 Prize winners will be drawn on 15th September and will be selected by way of a random prize draw supervised by an independent person.

6.2 The Promoter will choose 8 prize winners, and the decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered.

6.3 The Promoter will contact the prize winners personally, via their British Gas account linked email, by 24th September. If you have not received communication from the Promoter by this time, you should assume you have not been successful in the prize draw.

6.4 The Promoter must make available information that indicates that a valid award has taken place. The winner's name and county will be available on request for up to 30 days after the prize draw. If the winner objects to their surname or county being made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

7. Claiming the prize

7.1 No action is required on your part to claim the prize. However, you must ensure that you maintain correct and in-date contact details on your British Gas account, particularly your email address, so that the Promoter can contact you to confirm you have won the prize draw.

7.2 The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the prize winner. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to accept or collect the prize for any reason and the prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Filming and photography will take place at the relevant stadium during matches and events. By attending any match or event, you agree to your image being filmed, photographed or recorded at that match or event and grant a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license in perpetuity for both the WSL and the Promoter to use such images including being published on the internet, social media and the Promoter and WSL’s website (free of charge).

8.2 Parental or guardian consent must be provided in relation to images taken of a person under 18. You may be asked to produce evidence of any required consent at the Promoter or WSL’s request.

9. Limitation of liability

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotional prize draw, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

10. Data protection

The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. This includes sharing your personal information with any third parties that are involved in administering this Promotion on our behalf, including WSL, who will be delivering the prize. 12. General

12.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw and refuse participation in future prize draws, competitions or promotions.

12.2 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so. In such an event, the Promoter will not be liable to any person for any reason who may have entered the prize draw.

12.3 These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions.
