HP laptop crashed. I need to get at some docs on the SSD. I am looking for a compatible reader with USB. The card is from an old(ish) pc. The card is KIOXIA CVB-8D128-HP. Any pointers appreciated

I googled that card number and found https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/396661102231
So Google < SATA M2 usb > reader to find suitable devices ?
Then do due diligence via user reviews of them.
The laptop may have crashed due to the SSD failing. Data may be irrecoverable. That's why one has backups.0 -

If the SSD has failed then you may not be able to recover anything.
SSD enclosures are available on the main online selling sites, looks like you need an SATA M2 compatible type, do double check that though!
If you have a computer shop nearby it might be best to see what they can do first.

I'm sure that you are far too adult to gloat, but enjoy the moment anyways 😁raddy59 said:

I'm pretty sure that listing was written by AI. They're becoming more common, and are fairly easy to spot; there's a rhythym to them.flaneurs_lobster said:

Yes that was my thought too, don't think a human would have it in them to be lyrical about an SSD.QrizB said:
