Hi,

I've been having ongoing queries with TCB and they seem to be avoiding giving a direct response.

So, up to about a month ago, a transaction would appear as pending within up to 2 days on my account (most of them anyway).  Some would appear almost instantly.

Then, several weeks/months later it would change to confirmed. Then it would go to payable 24/48 hours later.

Now, it's sitting as confirmed for days/weeks before it goes to payable

I queried this several times and I just get the generic response about how long it can take.

I asked if it only goes to payable once funds are physically received from the merchant. They said yes money becomes payable once they have received funds.

So what's the point of showing as confirmed if they haven't got the funds and why has it changed?

As mentioned, I feel they are skating around the question, hence me asking here.

Thanks

Pending means you might get it, confirmed means you will, payable means you can cash out

That has not changed, some retailers just pay out quicker than others, or you catch them at the end of a payment period vs the start.

You are overthinking the issue, I cannot see any overall change.

Unless someone has inside information from each merchant then you are never going to know how they process the batches of transactions and payouts and feedback the status to TCB.

The TCB agent isn't going to have that information to hand hence their generic response.

Just be thankful TCB works most of the time and they are pretty good with most queries.
