Hi, I'm having problems with a parcel coming from Denmark. It made it to my hometown and a delivery date given, however no one attempted delivery and the tracking shows the very next day it returned to Heathrow ! . I have been trying to get through to parcelforce for the last 3 days but on hold for nearly 2 hours each day before giving up. I have filled in a complaint form and contacted the company who sent it but still having no luck. I would appreciate  any ideas. Thanks

Parcelforce. Argh! Your parcel is probably in a river. It's the seller's responsibility to ensure delivery. You've already chased it up, but it's really not your issue. Inform the company, and after a wait to see if it surfaces (so to speak) or gets returned to the sender, they'll either refund or resend. If they don't, inform your bank and ask about a chargeback.

I've had maybe ten packages delivered by ParcelFarce in the past 35 years. Every single one was problematic. The last one was an original painting for which I paid £60 P&P. When I heard they'd sent it by ParcelFarce, after wailing "Why would you DO that!?", I waited by the window all day. At some stage I need to go pee, and when I came back I saw they'd thrown the package over the hedge to land in a flower bed, in the rain.
