David Lloyd - parking charge notice

Please help, 

I received a parking charge notice from NPC for parking on a double yellow line at David Lloyd. I was on a two weeks trial at the centre and my electronic card was not working, so I couldn’t not use the car park. 

If I approach David Lloyd to cancel the ticket, can they pass my details to NPC? 

I don’t want them to pass my details to NPC as the registered keeper. NPC are registered with IPC, I believe they can still get my details from DVLA, is that correct?  I haven’t received any formal letter from them, they left the ticket on my car. It was issued on 28 Aug.

Yes they can but so what? Daft old NPC writing letters to you is nothing to worry about.

Get some photos of 3 things;

- the double yellow stretch with evidence of NO SIGN next to the lines, and

- the entrance sign, and

- the t&cs sign in the car park area. Bet it is headed up David Lloyd Clubs. We've seen their signs before.
