I just got hit with a 50% higher PCN—but I never even received the original notice

Hello,

I have received a letter stating that I have not paid a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and that the amount has now increased by 50%. The problem is that I never received the initial PCN. How was I supposed to know about it if no letter ever arrived? I have checked thoroughly, but there is no sign of the original notice.

    Likely they didn't send it..  I suspect this is part of their cunning plan.  Just proceed to waiting for them to send you a notice for court action.  Unless you can go to the place where you're accused of being naughty and get them to get the PCN revoked.

    Sounds like a council Penalty Notice 

    In which case I suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first,  because they will want more details,  including pictures etc

    I did commit the offence as I show the CCTV footage in there website Haringey London Council but its just that the amount of £240 is a lot compare to the original 50% off if you pay in 14 days of £80
