Owning two retirement flats

Can you get her to start selling this one now, before looking for another one? If she's willing to price it below what she paid then she may be able to get rid of it in a reasonable time frame.
Have you figured out why she wants to move and see if you can do anything to nudge her decision away from that?0 -
There are two largish newbuild retirement complexes within 2/3 miles of where I live. Neither are in what I would describe as "desirable locations" and the prices for a 2 bed are ridiculous compared to a 3 bed semi in a good area. For the past 3 years, every 2 months there is an advertising leaflet through the post for each (different companies) inviting the recipient to an open afternoon with light refreshments, so I suspect these are not selling.
How much money they would lose when re-sold doesn't bear thinking aboutIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

I also get regular invites to open days with a free lunch etc. So even though these places are mainly in desirable locations, they still clearly need a decent marketing budget.
I suppose there is a natural turnover of residents, but the high purchase costs and hefty annual charges means they need to make an effort to persuade new people to move in.0
