PCN from ECP at Gallacher Retail Park Dundee

Hi all, can see there are a lot of questions about this company and car park. My son got a ticket there because he didn't realise that he still needed a £0 ticket for free 2 hours parking. His girlfriend persuaded him to just rip it up. I got a penalty notice from ECP and my son and his girlfriend persuaded me to ignore it. I have now received a Debt recovery Plus letter asking for more money than the original fine. I understand we probably should have appealed at the time. Any advice on what to do now having ignored till this stage. Thanks

ECP dont issue Penalty Notices,  so they were Parking Charge Notices (  Invoices  ) from a private parking company 

Ignore them as per the current advice for Scotland 

Definitely IGNORE the powerless debt collectors letters,  as explained in post 4 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements

Are all the addresses (RK, parking event etc.) relating only to Scotland?

Son is correct. Ignore as you are in Scotland.
