How do I follow a Facebook page

To reply to a Facebook post I need to follow the page and wait 24 hrs (I've followed the poster's profile which is easy). However, there's no follow option I can find on the page's menu. I've liked the page, but 24 hrs later I still can't answer the Facebook post.

I've gone through various FAQs  on how to do this and I'm no wiser how to do this, possibly because there's no way of following pages any more.

Don't think you can follow a post, just the poster, which you are already doing. Have you tried saving the page to go back to later?

I think it means follow the Poster,  so I did that anyway, but it still wasn't available for reply 24hrs later as claimed. It has now become accessible after a few days though.  I'm glad it's not just me who finds Facebook difficult!
