took out loyds home insurence then a while after house got burgled  loyds saying I didn't tell them about a old cancelled policy but nowhere did it ask says about any claims in last five years said I claimed 150 pound for broken tv now saying I withheld about cancelled policy

How did you buy the policy? Directly off their website or via an aggregator or over the phone?

I've not seen any website that doesnt ask about if you have ever had insurance cancelled, most the time its done as a statement of fact along with about if you have any CCJs etc and you have to just click to confirm all the statements are correct. Obviously lots of people dont bother reading what they are clicking they agree to but thats not an excuse when it comes to you making false declarations.

directly off website I honestly didn't see any question about any cancelled policy I told assessor when he came round I was in hospital and missed 2 payments and insurence company cancelled my insurence when I came out they said I could renew my insurance but not reinstate old one being silly fool was angry so told them to stuff it hence the cancelled policyi

Have you gone back through their website since?

loyds home insurence been looking at all  paper work online cant see anywhere where it asks if any cancelled policy in past

I have now seen one site, Lloyds Bank have stopped asking the Q, the question which can't answer is if they stopped asking before you took out the policy or after.

now saying they have asked for police report making me feel like a criminal but ok if that's what they do but on day of burglery my friend and his wife came back with myself and my wife which is in police report they didn't come in as when opened door realized had been burgled so stayed outside phoned police told not to go in 2 and half hours later police phoned said wont be out till morning now loyds want email and phone number and full name of them both this feels  wrong
