direct debit

onecom want to charge me £15 for not setting up a direct debit by 3rd of october and £25 in jan if not set up this cant be right surely

    Your first mistake was taking a contract with Onecom, are you still within a cooling off period.  Search FB for Name and shame Onecom to get a feel.  To answer your question read your T&Cs they are usually fairly watertight in the company's favour.

    Do you mean one.com or onecom.co.uk? The former is a website building company and as far as I can see do not accept payment by Direct Debit, the latter are a business only supplier so Consumer Rights probably do not apply and yes, they can add surcharges if you do not pay by Direct Debit. Why do you think it "cant be right"?
