Change from agile
I want to change from octopus agile in the winter months, looked at fuse for fixed deal but can’t find out how much they pay for solar, not that I generate much but it is something.
anyone know how I find out that information of should I just swap to another octopus tariff?

Over Winter you probably won't export much. For example we only exported 15kWh last November, and 2 each in December and January. Compared with 800+ over the Summer months.
One option might be to keep your export with Octopus even though it drops to 4p/kWh. That might still be better overall if you get a good import tariff elsewhere.0 -
Can you do that, keep octopus for export and import from another provider?

Thanks I’ll probably return to octopus in summer unless fuse start paying more, just got to check for penalties.QrizB said:V3cash said:Can you do that, keep octopus for export and import from another provider?Yes, but you'll only get Octopus's basic SEG tariff which (I think) is ~4p/kWh.As above, solar generation will probably drop off a cliff in October and won't reappear until February.
