Lancaster Park Virtual Permit

Good evening,

We received this one today. Ive not come across a virtual permit charge before.

Its near Leeds/Bradford Airport. Lancaster Park next to Costa. I dont have an image of the miniscule warning signs yet.

Would I treat this the same as the generic car park/airport rip off PCNs?

Thankyou for reading.

"on the assumption that you were the driver" is not what POFA 2012 says at all!  They are clueless.

You can ignore UKCPS or you can lead them on the merry dance of the IAS to collect evidence for this thread:

Just don't cave in and pay!

And don't move house without telling them in writing to 'erase the old address'.  You must see each and every threatogram along the way, to be sure it hasn't gone to court claim stage.  In which case come back here.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A little update on this :-1:

Ive noticed that on the 2nd 'warning letter' when it increased to £100 and the following two letters from Trace debt recovery, all three have totally the wrong registration plate. Its a completely different vehicle. Would that put me in a far better position?

    Thanks,

    Dave

So the PCN had the right plate but the subsequent letters another VRM but the same PCN ref? That's a mess! Let them stew.
Yeah and one of the letters had added a 0 to my hose number.
