nice car but I reckon it will be pretty heavy on petrol. However, being the 2.2, it is the VTEC engine which is bulletproof.
Take a look at some of these reviews for more info: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/owners-reviews/search.aspx?range=338If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0 -
Possibly some body corrosion setting in, due to age, rear wheel arches and cills need close inspection for any body repairs at that age, it is 13 years old now.
Mechanically it should be fine as long as it has been cared for.0 -
Lovely car - my OH has one, but like other posters have said, it is a nightmare on fuel and his car an M plate has already had to have one rear wheel arch fitted due to corrosion and now the other one is on the way out. Honda's will run for miles and miles but with a 2.2 VTEC, I would think it would depend on whether it was driven with a heavy right foot.
I imagine for anyone under 30 the insurance would be a bit steep too - OH only has it insured third party only and thats still 300 quid and he's mid thirties. Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!0 -
We have a 1994 Prelude 2.2 VTEC import, and have had no problems with it in the 7 years we have had it, apart from having trouble getting a new exhaust as its an import.
We dont find it too heavy on fuel (32 mpg) and it is great to drive.
It also looks good and is comfy enough to do reasonably long journeys.0 -
I wouldn't say the rear seats were very comfortable!!! LOLIts nice to be important but more important to be nice!0

BOL had one - nice cars, I would consider one if I didnt have to do 45 miles each day to work. Would consider a diesel for your mileage tbh, and save the prelude or other coupes for when you're working closer to home.matched betting: £879.63
