Hot UK Deals

I recently used one of those offers on hot uk deals where you receive a gift card for spending a certain amount with a company. It was a £50 B&Q gift card if you spent £160. I followed the instructions but never received an email confirmation, contacted the ‘company’ (who, it turns out, are owned by hukd) and was asked for proof which I provided then nothing. They ignored me several times. Contacted hot uk deals direct and they said there’s nothing they can do, asked that department to email me but of course they never did. It’s annoying because I would’ve used a normal cashback site for a large purchase if the £50 voucher wasn’t offered.

I know there’s nothing I can do but I’ve seen these sorts of offers on hot uk deals a few times so just wanted to warn people.

You could return the item. If they won't accept the return you could contact your credit card company to do a chargeback.
