Credit reporting

Advice please.I took out a loan with Five lamps on 5 July 2017.It fell into arrears in 2017/18.A default was registered on my credit file on 26 February 2019. Default came off my credit file in February 2025. Since March the loan is being reported again on my credit file as missed payment each month. Company state that they can continue to report it as I contacted them in 2021 so statute rules apply. Is this accurate and acceptable?

Company state that they can continue to report it as I contacted them in 2021 so statute rules apply. What they will be referring to/availing of here is their right to continue to pursue the debt ‘if you have made contact with them, acknowledging the debt, within 6 years of the CCJ being registered. Did you write/email them or was it a phone call?

Just to clarify its not a ccj , debt registered as a default.
