Kids bank account

I need a bank or savings account for my son who is 7 so that a company he works for can pay into the account with the account name being his.

I have a couple of Halifax kids saver account's for my kids but when the company puts in the account number & sort code my name comes up as the account name. I have tried to change it but Halifax insist it is the trustee (me) name is the account name not his.

All the accounts I've looked at don't have this facility for his age group, does such an account exist?

A prepaid card seems to be the only option for a 7 y.o.

https://www.hsbc.co.uk/current-accounts/products/children/ You could try the HSBC My Account, which also has a linked savings account with a decent interest rate (up to £3000). My kids both had these and I'm sure it was their name on the paying in slips not mine.

I've just double checked a Barclays Children's savings account I'm the trustee of and COP passes with either my name or the child's.
