Cheap Energy Club and switching between BG tariffs

I am with British Gas on a tariff which will on October 3rd.
If I switch to another BG tariff before then using the MSE Cheap Energy Club, will I be charged the Exit fee by BG?

British Gas do not charge an exit fee if you change tarrifs staying with them. However there is a Bug in the MSE cheap energy website which prevents some existing customers from getting the cheapest deal including me. Good luck
