Cahoot Log on - temporary password needed?

Hello, anyone with similar experience? I opened a new account with Cahoot and got 2 letters with username and temporary password and temporary security number but when I logged on for the first time it didn't ask for the temporary password only to set up a new one. Is this normal? I tried calling and couldn't get through - thanks
