UKPC via DCB Legal - Trial Date

Well of course in mediation you offer them £0 ZERO
That puts it on track for the court case and before that, DCBL will start offering discounts which you IGNORE
As this is a UKPC claim, you know that their signs are full of small print, like many other UKPC claims, DCBLL will discontinue shortly before the court date
If it does end up in court remember …. DCBL has added a fake £70 which is DOUBLE RECOVERY and not allowed.
DCBL say the fake is DAMAGES which is rubbish and the courts know this

Update: had the mediation call, offered £0-5-10, they never went below £80.
Now will wait for the hearing date.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Mediation is pointless but ….. it shows you one thing and that is the DCBL offer of £80 showing you and a court that the full amount claimed is simply a money scam
As it's UKPC with yet another rubbish claim which DCBL love and so the game of monopoly begins.
Normal practice for DCBL is to contact you offering a discount, they might even harass you .. YOU IGNORE ANY OFFER and wait. This is a game you play with DCBL BECAUSE they discontinue just before a court hearing or face a spanking from a judge whereby you can claim your costs.
See the famous DCBL discontinuation thread, it's full of rubbish from DCBL including rmany of the UKPC rubbish claims

I'm so glad that a mortgage adviser is content to let this play out to the inevitable discontinuance.
Compare your calmness to this broker and scaremongerer, who has ignorantly told people to just pay up:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've got the hearing date through in the post today.
The hearing is set for Nov 25th, there's an Oct 28th deadline for the hearing-fee payment by DCB Legal, and there's a 14 day prior-to-hearing deadline (so Nov 11th) for the witness statement.
Assuming I've read the WS deadline right, should I bother with filing a WS now or just wait for the (hopefully inevitable!) NoD around 28th Oct?

Yep, twiddle your thumbs and ignore DCB Legal's phone calls. Come back when you get the NoD emailed over as Umkomaas needs it!
