Can you help?
I took out a mortgage with Verso in 1987 (a long time ago) however, I believe I was charged PPI on this mortgage. Since I understand Verso is no longer trading, could anyone advise me on the best way to proceed with making a reclaim please. Much appreciated and Thank you. Lydia

LydiaSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Are you sure it wasn't MIG? MIG was certainly the norm back then.Since I understand Verso is no longer trading, could anyone advise me on the best way to proceed with making a reclaim please. You don't
a) you probably didnt have PPI, it was probably MIG
b) Verso had no responsibility for any insurance sales made by brokers
c) it pre-dates not only insurance regulation but also financial services regulation in general (so no FOS or FSCS)
d) even if it was PPI, that issue is long closed down and no new complaints allowed.
