EBay fraud question

Bought something which was veering towards the too good to be true price but wasn’t quite there. Seller with very positive reviews but had been dormant for over 12 months. I get a very bland message from eBay telling me my order has been cancelled due to problems with the sellers account but there’s a possibility my order…

I have now had my refund, thankfully but can't see trying to insist that ebay do anything is going to get me very far given that ebay is not the most accountable of businesses in the first place. . It is also not easy to report to ebay when I no longer have an order number to report any issues with. Chalking this one up to experience and reconsidering my choices in 2FA
