Loads on Facebook - we have a 'give away' stuff page for our postcode, and Market place is usually good for a bargain.
Look out for charity furniture stores - they tend to do a mix of quality donated furniture and some new stuff. We have 2 near us.
Our local household waste site (tip) does have a reuse shop, but not all the tips in our council area do. Take a look at your council website.
Freegle(?) and the likes are worth a look although I tend to find they are poorer quality offerings.0
