Problems changing to Outfox. Just me?
My BG electricity fixed rate ending. Tried to change to Outfox this week. Initial process easy but then sent a link to set up account. Password fields clickable but not the email field!! Tried downloading via a different route and using tablet, phone etc. Same problem.
Tried to contact for support Phone line busy and call terminated at their end. Email says will reply at some point. BG reach out to me and after a very nice chat with a real person in retentions I get a one off discount which only leaves me £4 month worse off than Outfox. Decide not worth hassle of moving for that amount

I wonder if you tried to switch, just when Outfox were temporarily having website / system problems...

Definitely not just you, Whilst happy that Outfox seems to have pleased many people, I have only had my own bad experience.
I could not get through to customer service on the phone (after 20 minutes of muzak) so I sent an email. Then resent, then resent. After 3 attempts I only after I contacted the CEO's office that I got a reply which does not bode well for customer service at all. Be warned!
ALSO, if you sign up they only allow a mobile number online (24% population still don't have use of one and I live in a dark area) and strangely they also require your date of birth, which I am unhappy to give as that detail is not needed and if hacked, can help someone get a cloned profile of you.
They said it was so they could check you were over 18 but no other energy companies require it because you pay by D/D from a bank account which you can only do if you are an adult.
OUTFOX require too much detail to be safe.Keep it simple. If in doubt - desist.0
