Hi

I previoulsy asked about info regarding my water tank and shower (see below)

Ive looked to improve the tank now and got some quotes but none have given me the same answer, which I guess is to be expected. Two have said I can still use the Aqiuliser shower. Theyve all recomended different sizes of tank, although speaking to one of them they said you should account for 40ltrs per person per day, re shower etc.

The house I have has the capacity for 4 bedrooms, so to me thats a minimum of 160ltrs if no couples, when talking to the last one, he suggested you can get tanks now where you can adjust them depending how many people are currently in the property, so will save money and water, is this normal for most of them or a new thing? He also suggested about sola panels and suggested a tank that would cost more but be future proof for things like this.

I think none of them suggested over160ltrs initially the last one only if installed solar etc, I take it 40ltrs would include heating and things like solar per person?

As its quite a big change and also a lot of new tech, would really appreciate if anyone can help. I could also add the quotes if would add more clarity.

Thanks in advance.

160 litres seems a bit small for a 4-bed house, to my mind at least.
We've got a ~150 litre tank in our 3-bed and it's barely sufficient; when both kids are home from college, we need to let the tank reheat if we're all showering / bathing on the same night.
