Lodger's rights to guests

My girlfriend has a lodger agreement with her landlord. My girlfriend's sister will be visiting from Australia soon and her landlord has refused a request for her to temporarily stay in the property (in my girlfriend's room, which she has exclusive rights to under the lodger agreement) as a guest for part of her stay in the UK (2 weeks).
We have checked her lodgers agreement (which has expired and the landlord has not renewed for some time despite my girlfriend's requests) and there is nothing stated in there about not being able to have any house guests.
What are her rights in this situation?

None, as she's a lodger. The landlord she's living with can ask her to leave almost immediately.
If they don't want guests staying in her room, that's their right.
The sister should find a hotel / Airbnb etc.5 -

She has no rights as a lodger and could end up losing her room with no notice so she needs to be careful if she is otherwise happy there2

If they are on good terms, offer the owner some money?2

If he does live there and she is a genuine lodger then she has no rights to have her sister stay for 2 weeks. I suggest bribery- an amount to cover extra bills and the inconvenience of another person.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
