Hello all, we had some really heavy showers yesterday but the sun is out this morning so I've put the wm on. I'll take a chance on hanging it out but I may be doing the hokey cokey with it !
Yesterday I rang Dad who had his miserable head on so it took some persuasion to get any sort of conversation out of him, lots of one word answers or such long pauses from him that I had to keep checking he was still there. I resisted telling him off for not eating any proper food again and only eating rubbish, so I bit my tongue as it falls on deaf ears anyway lately, plus he doesn't seem to be taking his fortified drinks from the GP either. 
Today I'll do a tidy round and also sort out some holiday clothes, they'll probably need a run over with the iron at some time. 
Scarlet good news for DH, long may that continue.
Right I'm off to hang the clothes out.

Morning all

Back from shopping.  Lots of rain here this morning although it has stopped now but due to start again on and off for the rest of the day

DH seems to hoard all his old glasses for reasons unknown so I had a clear out yesterday and we took them into the opticians while out shopping.  Apart from that not alot going on here today.

Hello everyone, 
We are now in Washington National Park in a (posh) woodland cabin. Spotted an elk grazing this morning:

We are off on a hike this morning to Shookum Falls then heading for the State Fair. I’m hoping they will have funnel cake!! We are staying late as have tickets to see Christopher Cross, Men at Work and Toto later. We head home tomorrow. 

News from BIL who has been to ours whilst we are away - rodent activity in the utility room plus on the landing. Has really spooked me and I’m now anxious about getting home to an unclean house 😢 He is going to set some traps up.
