Apcoa ANPR penalty notice

I was parking in an APCOA ANPR train station car park where I forgot to pay for parking. I arrived at the car park at 08:30am and realised at 13.17pm that I hadn’t paid, I researched the APCOA late pay as I know that is an option but was slightly confused by the terms. The way I read it was that APCOA late pay was an option for late payment when you’ve already left the car park, I was however still parked in the car park so I went ahead and paid the normal way via the app in hopes that it would cover it… it did not.

I have received in the post an APCOA penalty notice, I am just wondering what the chances of appealing this in hopes that they will take my standard parking payment as a late payment option in the appeal ?

Just use the no keeper liability appeal  ( as keeper   ) as seen in all the other train station threads on here over the last 18 months

No blabbing about who was driving or about what happened either,  no excuses,  no explanations

APCOA cannot be the "creditor" to a penalty notice it's all smoke and mirrors and will go nowhere, follow the advice above.

When it comes to POPLA stage, include the point that you don't believe APCOA have authority to issue penalties, only parking charge notices which are entirely different.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
