CCJ from Civil enforcement

I had the misfortune to receive a PCN from these people. I followed the advise on the thread and wrote to them denying responsibility, then ignored the following letters, as I thought I had read that on the site/. I then got a letter before action and then a letter saying I had a CCJ against me!
Do I have any recourse left or do I just pay the money?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -

I missed the claim form as we were moving house, I was also recovering from having had a stroke, so a confusing time altogether!Coupon-mad said:

OK so you have a CCJ now.
You might want to ask Contestor Legal if they will do this application on a 'no win no fee' basis. Google them.
If not, read the CCJ set aside guidance in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
