Which home building and contents insurance

My uncle is in a home and has a property which has unofficial tenants in that have no rental agreement contract and are not paying rent. I will be trying to evict them eventually. In the meantime I’m going to get home and contents insurance. Can anyone advise which type to get in this situation that will protect against any possible damage caused to buildings and contents by the tenant?

So are they squatters or people that started as regular tenants and its evolved into the current situation?
  • It started as a verbal agreement between my uncle and a friend that the friends daughter could live there to make it looked lived in. There was a promise of rent which has never materialised and a load of refurbishments and changes to property grounds have taken place all without my uncles knowledge or agreement
