Ok, another tech issue i need help with.
1. Trying to boot from a external hard drive windows 10 but not showing in boot menu at all?
The external drive is showing in file explorer. Laptop Acer Aspire 3
2. Tried the same in another old HP pavilion laptop, the external hard drive was showing in boot menu. When selected it tried to boot up (windows logo showed ) but then blue screen saying have to restart and stope code ' inaccessible boot device'
Is it even possible to remove an internal hard drive and use it to boot from externally?

1) This may be Secure Boot.2) Yeah it will do. Hardware is too different.3) In theory yes, but may be far quicker just to put a new install on the external drive.1

2. Hardware is same, only difference is the drive is now external, rather than internal.

I have FOUR Hard drives from different computers that contain data - When needed I plug it in copy and paste what I need or update/delete as required1
