Overstay PCN

Hi everyone,
Would really appreciate any advice with this. I received a PCN for overstaying the permitted parking time in a McDonald’s car park a couple of months ago. Inside the McDonald’s there were signs on the wall that said if you need to stay longer just let the manager know and they would be happy to take your details.
so I gave my details including registration number to the store manager and he said that’s fine and he would exempt me on their system. Now he may have forgotten because I then received a PCN in the post.

I have appealed it with the parking company and explained what happened but they rejected my appeal. I have then appealed with POPLA but I am not feeling confident of anything changing.
does anybody have any advice in this situation? What should I do? It feels very unfair given that I was granted permission to stay longer on the day by the McDonald’s store manager.

Go back or email and complain bitterly to the store manager. That's Plan A in the NEWBIES Announcement thread find it at top page 1 which you should read.

Please read the MSE Guide to Private Parking Tickets which is linked at the top of every page. It explains all. POPLA won't work but you just ignore the DRA demands.
Pictures of those £170 threatograms are in the NEWBIES thread post 4. Ignore.
DO NOT PAY.
Complain to McDonalds for causing this.
Which PPC is it? UKPC? MET Parking?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
