    Which is generally a red flag as legitimate companies know that the UK isnt a single legal jurisdiction 

    You can report it to Action Fraud but they won't assist in recovering your funds. It's almost certainly a write off case. 
  • The company was Quantexa, you get commission for promoting products 
    Thank you all for your comments - I will know better next time, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is
