Does Nationwide Flex current account all have different maximum daily transfer allowance?
As I have managed to transfer one amount from one of my Flex account to two different external banks before I hit my daily allowance.
Today, I have tried with my second Flex current account with a lower amount and it says I have exceeded my daily allowance.and I can try again after midnight, so it will take me 3 days to transfer it all.
I was not able to find Arti (the Nationwide auto chat box) 'button' anywhere, as I wanted to find out whether I can increase my own daily transfer allowance?

https://www.nationwide.co.uk/help/payments/transfer-limits-and-timescales/ explains their limits.
Are you specifically referring to FlexAccount, as opposed to all their other accounts which have Flex in the product name (FlexDirect, FlexPlus, etc)?0 -
The normal daily limit is £100,000 in total, but for new or infrequent payees that may be limited to £25,000.
It is NOT possible for these limits to be overridden by customer service agents or even by branch managers, I tried earlier this year.
If it is urgent you'll just have to pay for a CHAPS transfer.1 -
Hello eskbankerI forgot, it was a Flex current account which I had upgraded this account to a Flex Plus account last week:I have 3 DD in use for a least 6 monthsbut no income paid into itcould upgrading to Flex Plus last week be the problem? as Principility is giving me errors so I cannot login to do anything.Hence, I have opened an account with Spring and did the £10 min balance (ie with £9 + £1) ok, but have set this Flex Plus account at the linked account and it seems they only allow one linked account.PS I always found your questions very helpful0

No idea if upgrading an account would cause this but wonder if the root cause might be the reduced number of banking days this week? The article linked above implies that the clock is reset every day, but if it's every banking day (as at least some others are) then today would be seen as the same one as Saturday and Sunday, delaying the reset until tonight - which payments have you made so far and when?0

I was able to transfer more than 3 x that amount several years ago, but it was to an existing Nationwide customer. Guess things have got stricter since then.Ayr_Rage said:The normal daily limit is £100,000 in total, but for new or infrequent payees that may be limited to £25,000.

Based on the link provide by @eskbanker above, as your account has been upgraded I imagine it's either seeing the transfer as to a new account or the account you are transferring to is not transferred to very often from your Nationwide account. I imagine it's more likely the later as you say no income is paid into it and has 3 direct debits set up.20122013 said:Hello eskbankerI forgot, it was a Flex current account which I had upgraded this account to a Flex Plus account last week:I have 3 DD in use for a least 6 monthsbut no income paid into itcould upgrading to Flex Plus last week be the problem? as Principility is giving me errors so I cannot login to do anything.Hence, I have opened an account with Spring and did the £10 min balance (ie with £9 + £1) ok, but have set this Flex Plus account at the linked account and it seems they only allow one linked account.PS I always found your questions very helpful
