What do I need - Insurance
Windscreen cover
Uninsured driver promise
Courtesy car while your car is repaired by an approved repairer
24 hour claim helpline
Policyholder can drive other cars (Third party cover only, terms and conditions apply)
Personal accident cover
It says Courtesy car while repair - but then offers something about car hire.
Do I need Legal Cover? Only once in 45yrs and it wasn't able to help. I do it for house but not sure what this can offer.
Motor Accident? Loss of limbs etc. As a retiree not sure that I would get anything anyway. Or would I? It's usually dependent of earnings and care. But it does say Personal Accident cover included.
Accidental and malicious damage compulsory excess (approved repairer) - Not sure what this means (malicious obvious) but I live in a quiet community.
I'd be grateful for your help, explanations. I can't face talking to a bot.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

We don't know what you need.0

The simple answer is how much would you save by finding a policy that didn't offer those?
They're actually a good sign that you're looking at an insurer offering value, rather than one trying to chisel content to a minimum to save a few pennies on a comparison site.
What sort of range of premiums are you being offered by the meerkats etc?0 -
I haven't done a comparison this time as I thought I'd see what a couple of those bigger names that don't always come up offered. It's certainly as good as the others. So far for AA and Lv it's £30-£60 less than my renewal from Tesco. It will eat in a bit if I have the next level up and extras. With costs going up so much across the board I'm covered for the essentials.I don't get what the Courtesycar that's included is different from a hire car - unless then you hire a make model you want. I was hoping someone else does.I do about 6000miles this coming year as I'm having a foot op that will keep me from many activities even when I can drive again but will need to drive so that's important.I think I'll rule the others out.Just been round the houses with TalkTalk BB so my thinking isn't straight at the mo

No reason not to get the meerkats and friends on it - if you've previously had quotes, and nothing's changed, it's just a couple of clicks.
If they're in the same ballpark, you know they were right.
If they're a chunk less for similar coverage (or without things you don't need), then you've saved.0 -

Windscreen cover = Must on country lanes
Uninsured driver = Must anywhere.
Courtesy car. Do you have another car to use.
24 hour claim line. Is the norm on policies. Why would you not want it.
Drive other cars, Not all have that anyway.
Personal accident cover. All about personal risk.
Legal cover on house may not cover car related problems.Life in the slow lane0
