Hi,
I have done M&S credit card eligible to check and it showed up pre-approved.
I have done M&S credit card eligible to check and it showed up pre-approved.
I decided to go ahead with full application. This was on Saturday, at the end of the application. It said that they will come back to me within five working days.
Do the credit check the application straight away even if it’s on weekend bank holiday period. I’ve checked my Experian and Equifax credit report which only been updated today and there is no search for M&S or HSBC.
Thanks

Depends if it's a auto or manual check.
Given the mention of 5 days. It sounds like a manual one, as they can not get the details via a auto check.Life in the slow lane1 -
The credit check was carried out yesterday Showed up on my Experian and Trans union credit report. I have rang them and they said the application has been approved with a 6K credit limit. I received an email this morning to sign the documents electronically. Can I ask them to increase the credit limit? Will they review it when the system has automatically generated a 6k limit?
has anyone tried and been successful.

thanksSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
