 @Etccarmageddon  "Mandatory mailing lists sign up"             It's hardly surprising the company wants to email you - there's got to be sosmething in it for them while offering generous prizes. I sign up to all competition mailing lists - but keep a note of the dates and unsubscribe after abouit a month. In fact, I was told that some competition organisers filter out the huge volume of entries by automatically excluding those who've not joined the mailing list. Seems a simple enough thing to do to ensure your entry goes in the mix.
