It’s Turnover, not profit, that counts for MTD.
I’m probably just going to be under the limit come April due to some large expenses but I’ll definitely be caught in 2027.Decent accounting software that is MTD compatable is the way to go.It makes your life, well my Wife’s life ( as she does my books) so much easier.
No matching bank payments to expenses, no scrabble for receipts, it’s all automatic - it’s linked to my business bank account and any receipts are photographed and uploaded to either match bank payments or created as out of pocket expenses to a virtual ‘ cash account’ she created on the system.0 -

It’s freeagent, which comes for free with my Mettle business account.
I think it’s pretty low cost to subscribe, £95 for a year on offer currently.I don’t know how that compares with quickbooks etc.1 -
